This weekend Netball Zug welcomed the Cadre d’Espoir to Zug. 21 girls from Netball Switzerland’s elite development squad travelled from as far away as Geneva for the weekend. Saturday and Sunday was made up of Fitness training, coaching drills, match play and a Beginner Umpire’s Award Course.

The Performance coach for the weekend was Sam Brightman EN. Assistant coaches and umpires joining us for the weekend; Jenny Evans and Phil Marchetti from Zurich Netball, Helen Ashton from Lausanne Netball. Fitness training and coaching by Mollie Brodie. Thanks to Netball Zug members Fiona and Kylie for your help.

Ensuring that everything ran smoothly, Team Manager for U17, the gorgeous Emma Connolly. Beginner Umpire Award course delivered by Peta. Both Emma (German ) and Helen (French) also acted as translators when things got hairy!!
